The Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to 5 million athletes and Unified States Sports partners in 172 countries<\/p>\n

AMSEN have been privileged to be associated with the Special Olympics and participate in the National Games which are held every 4 years. Students go for sports training every Thursday at the Jakaya Kikwete youth sports park during school hours. The training is supervised by Special Olympics coaches at the JK sports park.<\/p>\n

Clubs:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The centre offers extra-curricular activities designed to develop skills, character, and leadership. The activities serve both as recreation and fostering important vocational skills, independence and potential job skills.
