The Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Jamaat (KSIJ) is a nonprofit organization providing holistic and affordable Education services through the Al Muntazir schools, to 5,500 students of various ages and cultural backgrounds from Toddlers age to Secondary A Levels.
The KSIJ – Central Board of Education (CBE) is a sub-committee of the Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Jamat of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, formed under clauses 16 and 23 of the Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Jamaat (KSIJ) of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Formed in July 1994, the CBE plays a pivotal role in guiding and coordinating the Al Muntazir Schools in providing the best secular and religious education to all those in its care.
The Central Board of Education under the guidance of the Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Jamat manages the Al Muntazir Schools.
In 2013, the KSIJ CBE established a Special Needs Unit, whereby different abled children are trained under capable staff.
The KSIJ CBE employs more than 570 professional and non-professional staff to ensure the Schools delivers cost effective education and are preferred education providers in the country.
With a history dating back to 50 years, the Al Muntazir Schools have rich traditions and strong professional accomplishments. Our oldest member, the Union Nursery School celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2017.
In the same year, the Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary accomplished 35 years of its journey towards providing quality education in the field of Secondary Education at Form 1 to Form 4, offering Cambridge IGCSE/GCE Curriculum. The A Level Curriculum is offering CAMBRIDGE Curriculum.
