Academics

The Al Muntazir Primary School aims to foster a friendly and caring atmosphere where each child is encouraged to achieve their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. The School provides a holistic environment observing Islamic values such as responsibility, honesty, friendship, and trust which improves the quality of education and raise the standards achieved by our students.

The Lower Primary (Years 1 - 3)

Comprises of children from Years 1 to 3, where emphasis is placed on the “whole child,”  physical, intellectual, affective-emotional, social and moral. We set out to achieve not only high levels of academic knowledge, but also skills and attitudes, values and accountability, that will enable the students to successfully be life long learners.

The Upper Primary (Years 4 - 6)

Comprises of children from Years 4 to 6. We seek to nurture children to become disciplined, independent, wise, confident, hard working individuals with a wide range of skills.

Successful adoption of the Cambridge Primary curriculum at the school has been developed in tune with our religious ethos and culture and to ease the transition from Primary to the Secondary level.

The Primary school has transitioned into a full 6 year Cambridge Primary Programme with the first batch of Primary students moving on seamlessly to the Al Muntazir Secondary School in Year 7.

We offer 3 core subjects of Maths, English (First Language) and Science. Together with that, students are also offered non-core subjects including Kiswahili, Social Studies, Islamic Religious Education, Art, ICT and Physical Education.

The School accommodates all students, irrespective of race, religion, caste, or creed.

The School’s facilities include a library, an IT room, an E-room and a playground.
