    Al Muntazir Islamic International School stands on the foundation of its Islamic Ethos derived from the Holy Quran and teachings of the Holy Prophet & Ahlul-bayt. It is committed to excellence in education and character building for all in its care.

    This policy supports the Vision and Mission of the School to be an exemplary learning community where the soul of every community member is prepared not only to embrace the joys of eternity but also to excel in a diverse interconnected global environment.

    It is the responsibility of every member of Al Muntazir Islamic International School to uphold its Islamic Ethos at all times. Together we persevere respectfully and with the highest levels of integrity to achieve personal excellence in every aspect of our shared experience together.

    The Student shall show respect for others, including students and staff of the school by behaving in a polite and courteous manner at all times

    The Student shall work hard and abide by all school rules (including the School Discipline and Uniform Policy)

    The Student shall follow the ethos of the school, abide by all school rules pertaining to religious activities (especially attendance during Salaat with Jamaat and respecting all activities occurring during Salaat with Jamaat)

    The Student shall include everyone and not cause anyone to feel marginalised

    The Student shall avoid any prejudice or discrimination against school mates and the school staff

    The Student shall respect the fact that ALMIIS is a non-physical contact school

    The Student shall take good care of the school environment, respect its property and the property of others

    The Student shall behave in a way which makes the school site a safe and secure place for everyone

    The Student shall have a positive approach to school life

    The Student shall be regular in attendance and punctual

    The Student shall cooperate and collaborate with the school mates and with the school staff  accept responsibility for a well-ordered community at ALMIIS and will take a positive role in the running of the school.

    Parents / Guardians shall show respect for others by behaving in a polite and courteous manner at all times

    Parents / Guardians shall see that the child goes to school on all school days, on time, in correct uniform and properly equipped with the right learning resources

    Parents / Guardians shall make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect the child’s work or behaviour

    Parents / Guardians shall abide by and support all school policies and activities (including the School Discipline and Uniform Policy)

    Parents / Guardians shall use appropriate channels to communicate with school especially if wishing to share any concerns

    Parents / Guardians shall support the child in homework and other opportunities for home-learning

    Parents / Guardians shall attend all Parent’s events and discussions about the child’s progress

    Parents / Guardians shall encourage an attitude of respect for the environment, and for one another among the children

    Parents / Guardians shall behave in a way which makes the school site a safe and secure place for everyone.

    Parents / Guardians shall Use a courteous approach when communicating with the school leadership team or the teaching and non-teaching staff.

    Parents / Guardians Understand that the school will not tolerate any mode of violent or aggressive approach towards the school management and staff and that any disrespect from the parent may lead to consequences.

    The school shall show respect for others by behaving in a polite and courteous manner at all times

    The school shall care for the child’s safety and security throughout the school day (including breaks)

    The school shall ensure that the child achieves full potential as a valued member of the school community and has the highest expectations

    The school shall provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of the child

    The school shall achieve high standards of work and behaviour from students through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility for themselves and for others in the wider community

    The school shall keep parents/guardians informed about general school matters and about the child’s progress in particular

    The school shall be open and welcoming to parents/guardians and offer opportunities for them to become involved in the life of the school

    The school shall resolve concerns in a fair, open and prompt manner

    The school shall behave in a way which makes the school site a safe and secure place for everyone.

  • Parental Commitment

    Parental Commitment / Consent
    I, hereby authorize the School to be in loco parentis i.e. to sign on behalf of the parent in case of medical emergency.
    In case of medical emergency, the school will contact me as its first priority, failing which, the child will be taken to hospital. All medical charges shall to be borne by us, the parents/guardians.
    I indemnify the School against any and all claims whatsoever and howsoever arising, save where such claims arise from negligence, gross negligence or willful intent during the time my child/ward is under school care.
    I declare that I am the legal custodian of the Child/Ward and that I have legal authority to appoint a Temporary Guardian for the Child.
    I declare that all the above information is correct and I undertake to inform the School as soon as possible, of any changes in the medical circumstances after the date of filling this form.
