Welcome To The Nursery Campus

The ALMIIS Nursery is the best and the biggest pre-school in Dar es Salaam. Established in 1956 as Union Nursery School before becoming part of the Al Muntazir Islamic International School with just 2 classes, the school now provides education to almost 800 students aged between 2 to 5 years.
We support the natural growing process of young children between the ages of two and five years. We offer a high standard of education whereby children benefit intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically through interacting with their peers within the environment.

School Facilities
The Campus facilities include classrooms, separate washrooms and changing rooms for boys and girls, a library, an IT room, activity and event halls, a swimming pool, a playground, a vegetable garden, a forestry section and a soft room.

Academics
At the Nursery we give importance to learning through play. The Cambridge Early Years Curriculum compliments this methodology as all the areas of learning in this framework focus on exploring and hands on learning. We believe in the physical, mental and spiritual development of the child. We therefore offer IRE (Islamic Religious Education) and Quran as compulsory subjects for all children.

Events And Activities
The school offers sports and co-curricular activities designed to supplement school curriculum and provide additional opportunities for students to develop skills, character, and leadership. These activities are integrated within the timetable and include swimming, outdoor games, Sand/Water Play, Fitness, ICT games.
