For the first time, Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) has selected AMSEN as a field placement site for Occupational Therapy clinical rotations.
Three third-year diploma Occupational Therapy students from KCMC will complete a one-month placement at AMSEN, working closely alongside the school’s Occupational Therapy department. The students will focus on individualised student support within the school setting, conduct observations, and contribute towards developing treatment plans that aim to support students beyond the duration of their internship.
This partnership marks an important step toward strengthening practical training opportunities and multidisciplinary collaboration to support children with special needs.
